Hoarded Love of Eternity
Christ came to the earth and stood before the children of men with the hoarded love of eternity.

Though we find ourselves in a world far from perfect, the lessons of the garments of the high priest offer a glimpse of the glory and beauty in which God intends to clothe humanity. While these fine and costly materials fall far short of the glory and beauty that is coming, when we understand the significance of these special garments, we begin to catch sight of the grandeur that awaits us.
The question I ask myself is “Am I hearing the voice of Jesus today?”
Every time I eat, I am invited to celebrate God’s good creation and redemption. My health message should be part of the gospel of how a compassionate God works to heal and restore our bodies and the Earth.
To find our inner beauty and dignity, we must know what priestly garments were like. We may not literally wear linen breeches, a big hat, or an ephod, but we must see how these sacred vestments can be of service to us today. Our spiritual garments should reflect God’s glory and beauty.
When I experience the beauty God’s character, I find that faith is an experience that happens to me, not something I make happen.
