My blog deals with a variety of subjects at the intersection of religion and meaning. I seek to reflect on the relationship between theology and life and the places where they meet. In matters of faith, much has been written about obligation and certainty, which tend toward the negative side of theology. Doctrine and creed are not necessarily negative, but I'd rather share theology from a positive and nondogmatic perspective. While some find comfort in pledging allegiance to rules, I believe God would say to each of us, “Keep your beliefs and practices, but understand that my desire is for you to know and understand Me.”
