The Light Is in You
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” If you receive God’s undeniable love, the light is in you. You don’t need to struggle or strive to shine. You are already the light of the world, so just let your light shine.

We must not forget that Christianity began as a nonviolent revolution and counterculture movement of other-centered love. The birth of Jesus is the event that changed history; it is a story for everyone.
I find it absolutely fascinating that God’s presence in the cloud was perceived as darkness by the pursuing Egyptians and as fire and light by the Israelites
Today, we are divided by gender, race, economics, and politics, yet the darkness emphasizes our enduring yearning for light. I am reminded that dark times present opportunities for hope, opportunities for a shining light to make a difference.
